The weekly truth #5

It’s Sunday and I’m sitting on my sofa, watching TV. I taught 5 hours straight yesterday and I’m still recovering from that. I taught an amazing workshop on top of my normal classes, which gave me some time and space to reflect on this year and look at the year ahead and what I’d like to achieve and what my goals are. Looking at those, it’s going to be another busy year for me. I wouldn’t have it any other way though.

I’m lucky enough to have found something that I love doing and I can help other people at the same time. It’s taken me a while to find this, especially when I start comparing myself to others and where they are. That’s why I stopped comparing myself to others. I am exactly where I need to be, I truly believe that. Everyone has different experiences and therefore a different life. We all just have to stop comparing and start being grateful for what we have. If there is something we are not happy with in our lives, only we have the option to change that. We are in control of our own life.

I’ve been quiet on Social media for the past week. This was partly in preparation for the amount I was teaching yesterday. I had to prepare for the classes and workshop and make sure I’m eating properly and healthy. I’m also currently preparing for a few new projects starting in the new year, so those are keeping me busy. The ‘Daily inspiration emails’ I announced at the beginning of last week in my newsletter and I had a great response to it. I still have to add the link to my website and social media, but if you’d like to receive daily inspirations, starting on 1st January, send me an email and I will add you to the list.

This week I have been changing the way I eat, I really got into proper eating this week. I’ve always eaten fairly well, but maybe not the most nutritious. With my life being so hectic and busy at the moment, I think I understand the importance of eating healthy and well and getting all the nutrition my body needs. I’ve been cooking nearly every day and experimenting with new ingredients and flavours. Can’t wait to see what I’ll be cooking up next week. I might even put some pics on Instagram and Facebook J

I’m gonna go back to my Christmas film now and relax for the remainder of the day. I hope you have a lovely week and start getting ready for the holidays.

Until next week,
Jen x
